As part of our ongoing efforts to make the music industry a better, fairer place for independent artists, we employ stringent processes to review all music distributed through Identity Music Ltd. Part of this process involves reviewing content for copyright infringements and/or necessary licenses prior to distribution to third-party services.

However, if you believe that content distributed via Identity Music Ltd infringes on another entity’s copyright, you can submit a DMCA notice to our team here. 

Upon receipt of a DMCA notice, our team will process the claim by following our internal DMCA Policy procedures and decide on a course of action to be taken. This procedure includes a number of steps designed to objectively assess the status of the copyrighted material. 

If the content is found to be infringing another party’s copyright, it will be taken down from third-party services (please note: while we will ensure takedown requests are submitted in a timely manner in such situations, we do not have control over the speed at which third parties process takedowns and cannot guarantee the speed or full cooperation of any third parties involved).

Please note:

• Submitting a copyright dispute is a legal action. Fraudulent use of this form that misleads or provides inaccurate information may result in legal consequences against you or the party you are representing.
• Identity Music Ltd can only process copyright disputes for content currently distributed through Identity Music Ltd. We have no control over content distributed by any other digital distribution provider, including but not limited to Distrokid, CD Baby, TooLost or others. Please verify that the content you are claiming against is hosted and distributed by Identity Music Ltd before submitting this form.
• Before submitting this form, it is advised that you attempt to contact the artist or label (via means including but not limited to email or social media) who you believe is infringing on your copyright to settle the dispute without initiating a legal process.
• As part of the infringement investigation process that submitting this form will trigger, you acknowledge and accept that the contents of this form, including any contact information you provide, will be forwarded to the artist or label whose content you are claiming against.

If, after investigation into a dispute submitted using this form, Identity Music Ltd proceeds to issue takedown(s) of the content in question, Identity Music Ltd accepts no liability for lost earnings, delayed content takedowns, or legal liability for any infringement of copyright.
